Advisory Board 2024

John is a volunteer consultant with the Executive Coaches of Orange County providing consulting services to not for profit organizations principally in the area of Strategic Planning. He has enjoyed extensive experience serving on Boards of Directors of nonprofit organizations and is currently serving on the Board of Hoag Hospital, Hoag Orthopedic Institute, Charitable Ventures of Orange County, and The Cambodian Family.

John has over 30 years of business experience managing all facets of administration, strategic planning, and corporate finance. His experience includes direct planning and implementation of major financial transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, financings, and corporate restructurings). John spent 24 years of his business career with American Stores Company (ASC), then the nations 3rd largest food/drug retailer. He is a Certified Public Accountant formerly with Price Waterhouse LLP.

John has an MBA degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and a BSBA degree with honors from the University of Missouri. He and his wife Linda reside in Newport Beach, CA.

Donnie Crevier began his automotive career at Theodore Robins Ford, as a new car salesperson in 1966 and he became a new car sales manager in 1969. Donnie then joined his father, Bob, and uncle, Bill, at Crevier BMW and became a partner in 1974, where he continued to manage and operate the company until 2011.

 

Throughout his career, Donnie has not only been a successful business man, but he is highly committed to helping youth and education and is an active community advocate. Donnie has served on numerous boards including the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach, Rancho Community College Foundation, Kids On-Track, Orange County Human Relations Council, Western Medical Center, Orange County Motor Car Dealers Association, Think Together, Career Beginnings, Laguna Beach Playhouse, and Chairman of the Board for High School, Inc. Foundation. His favorite outside activities include scubadiving, reading, running, golfing, skiing, collecting and selling vintage/classic cars, and selling all new makes and models of vehicles, and is passionate about improving education.

Dr. Patricia is a board certified community pediatrician, and author in Orange County, CA. Since 2002 she has focused her practice on obesity and other nutrition related conditions in children.

 

Dr. Patricia and her multidisciplinary team reach over 6,000 underserved families through individualized patient care plans, community and provider education and training, school-based programs, and Parent-Child Feeding Interaction Therapy. Dr. Patricia attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate studies, and received both her Masters as well as Medical degree at the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in general pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

 

Prior to her current position, Dr. Patricia worked as a Pediatrician for Orangewood/Juvenal Hall, Doctors of Children in Irvine, CCHC/AltaMed in Huntington Beach, and as an obesity consultant for the Latino Health Access Obesity Program. In 2008, Dr. Patricia received the “Healthy Smiles: Hero of Oral Health Award.” She was also recently honored as an “Agent of Change” by the Children &; Families Commission of Orange County and received an “Excellence in Philanthropy Award” from the Orange County Community Foundation. Dr. Patricia has had the opportunity to speak to several of Medical Providers, Junior Lifeguards, and community Liasons. Her work has been featured in the Orange County Register “Serving Up Solutions to fight Childhood Obesity” , Contemporary Pediatrics” Treating Obesity at Ground Zero”, and Huntington Beach Wave. In addition, she has appeared on KDOC, KOCE, and ABC7 News as a childhood obesity expert.

 

Dr. Patricia’s program is increasingly being recognized throughout Orange County as a promising approach to nutrition-related disorders including diabetes prevention, obesity, Failure to Thrive, and feeding dynamic issues in children and teens. She recently completed a ground breaking parenting guidebook, Fit Kids Revolution, on treating/preventing childhood obesity and creating a healthy home. She was a guest on KRLA 870, The Hugh Hewitt Show hosted by Hugh Hewitt and WRDZ Radio Disney Indianapolis “Kids Concerns Show” hosted by LaKesha Hutchinson

Dr. Gwyn Parry has spent more than 40 years of his career as an attending physician or employee at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As the Director of the hospital’s Community Medicine Department, he oversees a program that by its provision of vital health care and education services for some of the most vulnerable children and families in Orange County demonstrates Hoag’s long-standing commitment to community service.

In addition to his work at Hoag, Dr. Parry is a tireless volunteer, serving on nonprofit boards such as the George Hoag Family Foundation, the PADRE Foundation and Orange Coast College.

Rosario oversees all operational aspects of the Dr. Patricia Organization or the Dr. Riba Health Club. As Operations Manager, Rosario establishes the vision for professional development, program delivery, quality assurance, and the day-to-day performance of the Dr. Patricia Organization or Dr. Riba’s Health Club and maintains relationships with organizations and allied agencies and with the community. Rosario has worked for Dr. Riba for several years when she started as Community Programs Coordinator.

 

Over the years, she has assumed several roles in the organization until being promoted to Operations Manager in 2015. She sets the standard for employees so that every decision and action taken is driven by a mission. Rosario enjoys traveling.
